Any LUV1 Electric Motorcycle Pairs 120 Liter Cargo Space With 100 km/h Speed

Belgian startup Any is taking preorders for the LUV1, a modular electric motorcycle combining 120 liters of storage with a 100 km/h, or 62 mph, top speed and up to 87 miles of range from two swappable batteries. Customers can configure an open or paneled frame for pets, work equipment or camping gear, plus a windshield, racks and rain poncho. Former Pininfarina design director and Granstudio founder Lowie Vermeersch designed the LUV1, serves as Any’s creative director and invested in the company. Its prototype debuted at Milan Design Week in May, introducing Any’s proposed “life utility vehicle” category.

The LUV1 starts at €7,000, about $8,150, with options determining the final price, and is expected to require only an A1 license in most markets. Any received more than 600 reservations in the first 100 days of its configurator campaign; each requires a fully refundable €49, or $57, fee credited toward purchase. The company raised €1.5 million in November and €1.25 million in May, totaling €2.75 million, or $3.2 million. Former VC Pieter Van de Velde became CEO one year ago, Cargaroo veteran Erik de Winter is co-founder and CCO, and engineering head Alessandro Mangano previously worked at Aprilia, Ferrari and Piaggio Group. With Europe’s motorcycle market expected by its industry association to become mostly electric by 2030, Any faces models from Piaggio, Harley-Davidson and others. Last-mile delivery companies have approached Any, which may expand into a broader portfolio including a three-wheeler. It now seeks at least €10 million, or $11.65 million, in Series A funding by the end of 2026 to scale production and begin customer deliveries.
