Clicks Power Keyboard Adds $99 BlackBerry-Style Typing, but Also Bulk

Clicks Technology’s $99 MagSafe-compatible Power Keyboard began shipping in summer 2026 after delays; by the week before August 10, 75% of first-batch preorders had shipped. The 119.7 × 76.6 × 15.2 mm, 180 gram slide-out Bluetooth keyboard fits standard through Ultra and Pro Max phones, works in portrait or landscape, and mounts through MagSafe, Qi2, an adhesive ring or a compatible case. Its tactile keys, adjustable LED backlight and USB-C-recharged 2,150 mAh battery improve on the earlier phone-powered Clicks keyboard case; the battery can wirelessly charge MagSafe and Qi2 products, with charging disabled or reserves allocated in the Clicks app.
Pairing was quick on Android, but switching to iPhone required the power button plus a number key for a second Bluetooth slot; only the app removes saved devices. Customization includes Tab remapping for the Clicks key, Sym + CMD Cursor Mode, idle timeout, hard or soft Return behavior, backlight and battery settings, Sym-number shortcuts for Esc, volume, playback and page navigation, plus Apple Shortcuts for calls, weather, flashlight, AirDrop and texts. TechCrunch found the clicky keys easier to learn than the old case, but the device was top-heavy in portrait with an iPhone 17 Pro Max and Pixel 10 XL, easier in landscape, uncomfortable with a bulky protective case, and liable to open or snag in pockets.
Clicks tested the iPhone Air, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, 16 Pro, Pixel 9, Galaxy Fold and other Android devices. It should also pair with tablets, Apple TV and Bluetooth-capable AR/VR headsets including Apple Vision Pro. The keyboard is a bridge to the physical-keyboard Clicks Communicator due later in 2026; TechCrunch found Communicator prototypes more comfortable at CES in January because Clicks controls their dimensions.
