Padmanabhuni compares the potential advantage for its first handset partner with AT&T’s exclusive role in the original iPhone launch. DetectifAI already earns revenue processing more than 100,000 monthly calls for unnamed Indian financial institutions, applying deepfake detection and speaker verification to AI agents handling debt collection and loan-document follow-ups. Padmanabhuni began machine learning at 12 and later became the youngest team lead in what she calls India’s first Formula Student driverless racecar division at Manipal Institute of Technology. Josh Constine and KM Growth principal Manohar Kamath provided a small seed investment. DetectifAI will compete in Startup Battlefield in San Francisco from October 13 to 15, 2026.
