Summary

On October 8, 2026, AI and hardware startup Natura unveiled Interface, a $99 smart ring activated by a finger press and voice request to summon AI agents, capture thoughts and meetings, and control computers and connected devices. Founder Carlo Edoardo Ferraris, previously founder of accessories company Rolling Square, moved beyond Natura’s HumanPods AI earbuds to a ring users can wear while sleeping or showering.

Interface will connect with Meta’s Muse, Instinct, Grokbot, Claude, ChatGPT and other services, letting users assign different agents to coding, reservations and other tasks. It can start workouts, read schedules, reorder products, control televisions and alarms, and send meeting notes. Responses arrive through connected headphones, iPhone Live Activity or the NatureOS app. Ferraris expects early buyers to be technology users with personal agents, but believes most people will have one within roughly a year.

The ring tracks heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep stages, movement, steps and skin temperature. Natura claims 6 to 12 days of battery life and a 100 minute recharge. Preorders are expected in November 2026, with shipping planned for December 2026 or January 2027. The $99 introductory price will eventually rise, while a $9 monthly subscription starts after three to six free months. Natura says manufacturing costs resemble the Oura Ring and Samsung Galaxy Ring because of shared components, but Interface initially undercuts them. It combines health and AI in a market spanning Oura, Ultrahuman, RingConn, Pebble and Vocci.

Positives

  • The $99 introductory price lowers the entry barrier compared with established smart rings, although Natura plans to raise it later.
  • Support for Meta’s Muse, Instinct, Grokbot, Claude and ChatGPT lets users direct different tasks to preferred agents.
  • Health tracking covers heart rate, variability, sleep stages, movement, steps and long term skin temperature.
  • Battery life of 6 to 12 days could support continuous use while sleeping, exercising or showering.
  • Headphones, iPhone Live Activity and NatureOS provide three ways to receive responses without opening another app.

Risks & concerns

  • A $9 monthly subscription begins after the initial three to six month free period.
  • The $99 launch price is temporary, with Natura planning an unspecified increase after building adoption.
  • A 100 minute full recharge may interrupt the continuous access Natura presents as the ring’s central advantage.
  • Initial demand may concentrate among technology users because personal AI agents are not yet broadly adopted.
  • Oura, Samsung, Ultrahuman, RingConn, Pebble and Vocci already compete across health and AI focused smart rings.
