Summary

On Oct. 15, 2026, NVIDIA added DLSS 4.5 controls to the GeForce NOW app on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Steam OS. In supported games, DLSS Super Resolution sharpens images, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation lowers latency and stutter, and Ray Reconstruction improves ray traced visuals. Ultimate members using GeForce RTX 5080 cloud rigs receive every available option, including frame generation up to 4X, and can prioritize image quality, responsiveness or a balance.

Keen Games’ co-op survival action RPG Enshrouded 1.0 exits early access with nine new spells, new mage and archer skills, reworked wands, upgradeable Eternal spells and arrows, new enemies, and a biome raising the player cap to 50 and equipment cap to 55. Cloud play avoids its 60GB local install. Retro first-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 adds a branching campaign, new worlds, weapons and enemies, plus playable Sternguard Veteran Malum Caedo and Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath.

The week’s 10 additions are Deep Dish Dungeon, Planet Zoo 2, Total War: SHOGUN 2 Complete Edition and Valor Mortis on Steam Oct. 13; Among the Trolls, over the hill and Boltgun 2 on Steam Oct. 14; Beyond These Stars on Steam, Xbox and Game Pass Oct. 15; Tenebris Somnia on Steam Oct. 16; and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered on Xbox through Microsoft Store. On Oct. 16, NBA 2K27 debuts a 2X faster DLSS 5 3D Guided Neural Rendering model on GeForce NOW, GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and RTX Spark laptops. Cloud availability may trail store releases during onboarding. Day pass pricing can credit a first monthly membership.

Positives

  • DLSS 4.5 lets GeForce NOW users tune supported games for image quality, responsiveness or a balance across four desktop operating systems.
  • GeForce RTX 5080 cloud rigs give Ultimate members Dynamic Multi Frame Generation up to 4X alongside the full set of available options.
  • Enshrouded 1.0 raises its player cap to 50 and equipment cap to 55 while cloud streaming avoids a 60GB installation.
  • Ten games join GeForce NOW this week, including day one access for Enshrouded 1.0 and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2.
  • NBA 2K27 debuts a 2X faster DLSS 5 model on Oct. 16 across cloud gaming, RTX 50 Series GPUs and RTX Spark laptops.
  • Day pass spending can be applied toward a first monthly GeForce NOW membership.

Risks & concerns

  • DLSS 4.5 controls work only in supported games, and available settings depend on the user’s membership tier.
  • Maximum options, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation up to 4X, are reserved for Ultimate members using RTX 5080 cloud rigs.
  • GeForce NOW availability may lag published store release dates while NVIDIA onboards games throughout the week.
