NVIDIA FOX Brings AI Agents and Digital Twins to European Industry
NVIDIA brings FOX factory agents, CUDA-X simulation and Omniverse digital twins to Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and major European manufacturers in 2026.
Summary
On October 21, 2026, NVIDIA released Factory Operations Blueprint, or FOX, in GitHub early access. CUDA-X, Omniverse, Cosmos and Nemotron underpin always-on manager and specialist agents for inspection, root-cause analysis, reporting and fleet management. FOX connects CAD, product lifecycle management, simulation, IT and operational technology, matching images with machine logs, coordinating responses and learning from examples or documents without fine-tuning. Siemens will add FOX to Intelligence Center X, targeting 20% savings; Process Preparation X uses Cosmos Data Factory defect images and cut Erlangen inspection calibration 40%.
At GTC Berlin, cuDSS became generally available. Mercedes-Benz uses Siemens Simcenter STAR-CCM+ on NVIDIA GPUs for aerodynamics, plus Cosmos 3 and Metropolis VSS for vehicle and windshield inspection. Cadence is benchmarking automotive fluid dynamics; Autodesk added PhysicsNeMo and Warp to Alias-integrated NavPack for Bentley; imec’s Synopsys S-Litho benchmark hit 40x, while Infineon’s Sentaurus Device with CUDA reached 12x in 3D breakdown simulation. Leonardo and Neural Concept combine aircraft geometry and aerodynamics in Omniverse. Dassault Systèmes’ Nemotron-powered LEO & AURA coordinate CATIA and SIMULIA with CUDA-X for virtual door tests. UniversalAGI and Saab use Latent Interaction Field Transformer models and Warp to assess thousands of waves in real time instead of days, choose safer routes and visualize vessels. PhysicsX and GB1 model yachts; Fermioniq’s Sofia builds Warp river solvers for Deltares and Dutch ministries; Mistral plans CUDA-X, Warp and Omniverse use.
Audi uses Omniverse battery twins and, with Dassault Systèmes and Agile Robots, validates mobile humanoids and logistics in DELMIA. Schaeffler pairs humanoid-actuator twins with Isaac; Wandelbots combines NOVA, Isaac Sim, Omniverse and OpenUSD. Falkor, a KONGSBERG company, runs spatial agents on Microsoft Azure NCv6 machines with RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. Schneider Electric and AVEVA are building Nscale an Omniverse AI-factory twin.
Positives
- Siemens estimates FOX agents in Intelligence Center X could reduce factory operating costs by 20%.
- Cosmos Data Factory-generated defect images cut inspection-process calibration time by 40% at Siemens’ Erlangen electronics factory.
- imec’s Synopsys S-Litho benchmark delivered up to 40x acceleration on NVIDIA computing.
- Infineon achieved a 12x speedup in 3D breakdown simulation using Sentaurus Device with NVIDIA CUDA libraries.
- UniversalAGI and Saab can evaluate thousands of wave conditions in real time rather than days, enabling safer autonomous routing.
- FOX agents can adapt from examples and documentation through Cosmos in-context learning without fine-tuning.
Risks & concerns
- FOX is available only through GitHub early access, not as a generally available production release.
- Cadence remains at the benchmarking stage for automotive fluid-dynamics workloads on NVIDIA GPUs.
- Mistral’s use of CUDA-X, Warp and Omniverse remains planned rather than deployed.
- Several highlighted gains, including imec’s 40x and Infineon’s 12x results, are workload-specific simulation benchmarks.
