NVIDIA GeForce NOW Adds DLSS 4.5, Firefox and Five Launch-Day Games
NVIDIA expands GeForce NOW with DLSS 4.5 controls, Firefox, Steam and Fire TV support, five launch-day blockbusters and 13 new cloud games at Gamescom 2026.

At Gamescom 2026, NVIDIA announced cloud-based DLSS 4.5 controls for GeForce NOW Ultimate this fall, including Super Resolution, Dynamic Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction. Steam Machine and Steam Controller support follows later this fall, then Windows and macOS, extending Steam Deck compatibility. GOG single sign-on is live, while Firefox now delivers up to 1440p at 120 frames per second for Ultimate members. Fire TV Stick 4K Select support is coming soon, with direct membership purchases through Amazon later in 2026.
Five games will stream at launch: Remedy’s CONTROL Resonant, the Coalition’s Gears of War: E-Day, Capcom’s Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Bandai Namco’s The Blood of Dawnwalker and STAR WARS Zero Company. From Aug. 25 through Sept. 27, a 12-month Ultimate purchase includes CONTROL Resonant at launch. Ultimate offers RTX 5080-class performance, DLSS 4, ray tracing, NVIDIA Reflex, Cinematic Quality Streaming and up to 5K HDR. A community giveaway offers more than 40 prizes, including a MacBook Neo, Steam Deck, Chromebook, Fire TV Sticks and Ultimate memberships. Day-pass spending can offset a first membership.
This week’s 13 additions are Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, STAR WARS Zero Company, Baldur’s Gate 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta Weekend, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Cold Fear, IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Mount & Blade: Bannerlord II, No Man’s Sky, Paradise Killer and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The Call of Duty beta runs Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. PDT to Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. PDT. Store release dates may precede GeForce NOW onboarding.
