CONTROL Resonant Hits GeForce NOW With RTX 5080 Streaming and Nine New Games
CONTROL Resonant launches on GeForce NOW with RTX 5080-class streaming, nine new games, a Sept. 27 bundle deadline and Googlebooks support coming this fall.
Summary
On Sept. 24, 2026, Remedy Entertainment’s CONTROL Resonant launched on Steam and GeForce NOW, sending Dylan Faden into a warped Manhattan to find his sister, Federal Bureau of CONTROL Director Jesse Faden, after a cosmic threat escapes the Oldest House. Dylan uses extraordinary powers and the shape-shifting Aberrant melee weapon against the Hiss, the Mold and other paranatural enemies. Ultimate members get GeForce RTX 5080-class cloud performance, NVIDIA DLSS 4, ray tracing, NVIDIA Reflex, Cinematic Quality Streaming and up to 5K high dynamic range on supported devices, avoiding a 100GB install. A 12-month GeForce NOW Ultimate purchase includes the game at no extra cost through Sunday, Sept. 27.
Nine games join this week: Dune: Awakening, released on Xbox Sept. 22 and available on Game Pass; Stick It to the Stickman, Steam Sept. 23; CONTROL Resonant, Steam Sept. 24; Wild West Pioneers, Steam Sept. 25; and Steam titles DragonSword: Awakening, Everything Is Crab, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Over the Top: WWI and Roadside Research. Hound13’s DragonSword: Awakening follows Lute across Orbis 60 years after a dragon awakens, with 19 heroes, collectible Familiars, Status Ailments, Active Skills and chained Signal Skills. It supports Steam Decks, Firefox browsers and Amazon Fire TV devices.
GeForce NOW support is coming this fall to Googlebooks, Google’s new premium laptop category and the first designed for Gemini Intelligence. Googlebook combines ChromeOS and Android, a Titan C chip, multigrade protection, phone continuity and access to phone files and apps; availability details are due later in 2026. Store release dates do not guarantee immediate GeForce NOW access because onboarding continues through the week. New users can test the service with a day pass and apply its cost to a first monthly membership.
